Proof of God and the one true faith

The evidence for God and God's identity is overwhelming. First we'll go over the evidence for God's existence then we'll go over the evidence for the identity of God.

REALITY

I'll start out with my simplest and most potent proof by asking a simple question. Do you depend on reality for literally everything? The food you eat, the air you breath, even the thoughts you think, even you coming into existence is because of reality. Reality is God over you whether you like it or not. What are you going to do? Argue that reality didn't create you?

CREATION

the most obvious piece of evidence is creation itself. All of reality proves the existence of God. Because all other options are impossible, of which are only two. Either reality was created by nothing, or reality always existed.

Obviously nothing can't create reality, that would require nothing to do something, which it can't because nothing is nothing. If nothing could do something then nothing wouldn't be nothing, it be something, then you'd have to ask what created that.

Why can't reality have always existed? That would require realities past to be eternal. Think about it, if an infinite amount of time has to occur prior to this moment before this moment can happen then this moment we're in right now would never happen. I'm sure we can all agree that this moment we're in right now is happening, therefore the past cannot be infinite, there has to be beginning. And as we learned earlier that beginning could not have been caused by nothing.

But then obviously there is the issue of what created God. Well God is self caused. In fact I argue that God is reality and that reality created itself. If you want a more in depth explanation for how self creation is possible you can read this post.

I give a few different explanations for self creation.

BIOLOGY

biology is literally the greatest piece of technology that's ever existed thus far in known history that wasn't created by man. It's several times more advanced than anything we ever created.

In order for the most basic lifeform to exist and function it has to be able to do several jobs right from the beginning. It has to be able to aquire and consume energy, spend energy on maintaining and creating more of itself, and dispose of waste energy.

And being able to perform those jobs depends upon millions upon millions of molecular machines. Complex machines that take particles from it's surrounding environment deliver those particles to other machines that break down those particles, creating new molecules that's used for fuel or matter for creating new cells or maintaining old cells. Each cell is a factory more complex than any factory we ever made.

You really think something like that came about by chance? You'd have better odds of witnessing a hurricane sweep and mop your floors, wash your dishes, and fold your clothes. Life is incredibly complex, making it impossible for it to have evolved from something simple.

OBJECTIVE MORALITY

One of two things has to be true. Either man has no rights over man. Or man does have rights over man. I can easily prove that the latter is false which proves that the former is true. Demand me to do something I don't want to do and watch me disobey. Threaten me with punishment, threaten me with death and still I'll disobey.

Clearly man does not have rights over man. And my rights as person stems from that fact. Because you don't have authority over what I say I have the right to free speech. Because you don't have authority over my life I have the right to life, so on and so forth.

Obviously just because rules exist that doesn't mean rules can't be broken. Obviously my rights can be violated. Which would constitute a crime whether or not a legal system exists. Because a violation of my rights is objectively morally wrong there has to be some sort of consequence for that. The existence of objective morality requires the existence of a righteous authority. A righteous authority that separates the unremorseful from the remorseful. Because what would be the point of objective morality existing if we all suffered the same consequence and ended up not existing in the end regardless of how we lived our lives?

You'll try and argue that rights come from agreeing and voting and creating artificial legal systems. To which I'll argue did you really need a lawyer to write down that rape and murder is illegal for it to become wrong in your mind?

If you're really observant you'll see that a truly healthy society can only be built by following and enforcing the just law. When you start enforcing laws that are wrong or don't enforce the law at all society starts to crumble, or never forms to begin with. It's pretty clear that morality is objective. Which again requires the existence of a righteous authority.

You'd have to be willfully ignorant to still believe that God doesn't exist after reading all that. Now on to proving that God is Jesus Christ. Out of all the religions it isn't even a competition.

PROPHECY

Daniel 9:24-27 predicted exactly when the Messiah would come. Is it coincidence that Jesus Christ showed up exactly when predicted and created a God level wave that continues strong to this day?

Jeremiah 30:3, Ezekiel 37:24-27, Isaiah 43:6, and probably a bunch more that I missed predicts the restoration of Israel. A funny counter argument that I hear a lot is that biblical prophecy is only fulfilled because people make it happen. I'm like wait you mean to tell me that you think Jews intentionally let themselves be conquered dispersed throughout the world and persecuted in the hopes that one day Christians would restore them to their land?

Romans 1:21-32 predicts the replacement of God with evolution and the explosion of homosexuality and our moral decline. We just had that black kid that murdered a white kid a few weeks ago and people are defending him, saying that what he did was justified and donating money to him. I haven't followed the story that closely. But that's nuts that you can get rich off of murder in today's society. We really have declined morally.

Joel 2 describes a very powerful army capable of doing incredible things. Leaping over mountains like a cracking fire, leaving behind scorched earth wherever they go. Such things only possible today. Things unimaginable to ancient men.

There's so many prophecies I haven't even touched on. But I think that's more than sufficient.

HISTORICAL EVIDENCE

Matthew 7:15-20 tells us to beware of false prophets. It's says that we will know them by their fruits. For a good tree produces good fruit, a bad tree produces bad fruit. I think we can apply this logic to everyone and the ideas, beliefs, and practices we adopt.

For a very large majority of human history we were poor, ignorant, and immoral. Slavery was the norm all around the world. No one that wasn't a slave cared to change that. Not atheists, Muslims, Buddhist, Hindus, Jews. But then the printing press came. Now people are reading the Bible. And they're discovering that what the church says and what the Bible says are two different things. The reformation happens and now you have protestant Christians changing the world for the better. Slavery is no more, the industrial revolution made us wealthy. Knowledge is widespread. No other demographic has had a more positive influence on the world. We come from a good tree, Jesus Christ.

COMMON SENSE

Out of all the other gods of all the other religions who even compares to Jesus Christ? Has any of them came down in the flesh to defend you with their own life. Is there even any historical evidence of the existence of any other gods like there is for Jesus Christ? Like I said earlier, it's not even a competition as to who the one true God is.

And he proved himself to be God the only way God could, by dying and not dying. Displaying power isn't enough. The only thing you prove by displaying power is that your powerful. According to that logic the past should think of us as god's.

In order to prove that you're God you have to prove that you're perfect by standing the test of time. Time is a destroyer, time is death, time destroys all things that aren't perfect, things that can be corrupted. But something perfect cannot be destroyed, corrupted or killed. And dying is the only way to prove that you can't die. Because living a thousand years doesn't prove you immortal. It only proves you haven't died yet. Same thing if you live a million years. The only way to prove you're God is through death, and Jesus did that. We have no other historical figure claiming to be God who's resurrection was witnessed and attested to. So don't pretend to be confused as to which God to believe in. The choice is obvious.

LOGIC

It was always going to be this way. The rules of logic demand it. There's some major differences between what I know to be true and what Christians believe to be true. Christians believe in a supernatural God, I believe in a all powerful God. The former is one who can do anything anyway he wants. The latter is one that can do anything the right way. That means abiding by the rules of logic. Because every action has an equal and opposite reaction, God cannot be immune to consequence. You can't create something as precious as life without paying a heavy price.

Creating from nothing is like overdrawing from an empty bank account. If I takeout $500 I'll have $500 in my hand and -$500 in my account. I can't keep that $500 for long. I'll have to give back to nothing what I took from nothing. But what would be the point of creating everything if everything just went back to nothing one day?

They say that matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed. But that's not really true. There is a hack or a cheat code that allows you to break certain rules. That cheat code is time itself. It's the source of God's power. If I passed an apple to my past self then my past self will then have two apples. You can multiply anything by borrowing from the future. And then the future will inherit what you borrowed from it. It's how Jesus multiplied the bread and fish. By investing himself in time and death Jesus was able to multiply his life because death decreed his life infinitely valuable due to being perfect. And with his infinite supply of life he is able to redeem us from death.

So imagine borrowing a dollar from your future self a few hundred times and then using that to pay back what you owe. And now you can keep what you took. That's what Jesus did with his own life.

People make fun of the idea that God sacrificed himself to himself to protect us from himself but from a pantheist perspective it makes complete sense. Reality created itself from itself and sacrificed itself to itself in order to redeem itself from itself. It's the only way to satisfy the negative balance we acquired by creating ourselves from nothing. There is no other religion that offers salvation through the forgiveness purchased for us with God's own life.

I'm sure there is a ton more evidence. But this is more than sufficient for a healthy skeptic. Everyone else doesn't want to see the truth. And that's okay with me. Everything is going to workout for the best no matter what.

THE SIMPLEST PROOF OF GOD IS THIS

If reality wasn't created then it always existed. Meaning that reality would have a infinitely long past. So if a infinite amount of time has to occur prior to this moment then it would never occur. Since we know this moment is occurring then we know the past cannot be infinite which also means reality was created which requires a Creator. Because creation is a conscious action.

You might want to argue that maybe it's possible for a Creator not to be conscious. It isn't. The laws of physics dictate that everything rolls downhill. Everything goes from order to disorder. That's entropy. And creation is the opposite of entropy, creation is the organization of matter into something meaningful. To believe that creation can occur naturally is to believe in the defiance of physics, in other words magic. The only thing that works against entropy and organizes matter is conscious intervention. And that's why a Creator can only be conscious and intelligent.

You're next response might be "well who created God"? That's irrelevant. All I have to do is prove that all other options are impossible. What ever is left must be the truth. That's how process of elimination works. So I don't have to explain how God came into existence (even though there is an explanation) in order to prove that God is real.

To put it simply your option is to believe in the possible or the impossible. Reality without God is absolutely impossible.
